THE DOUBLE-SUBJECT BATTLE PLAN
Target: Grade IX & X Board Prep
Objective: Finish by 9:00 PM | Zero Clock Anxiety
I. THE DAILY RECOVERY (1:30 PM – 2:15 PM)
• Arrival: Shoes off, bag away.
• Nutrition: Eat a protein-rich lunch (helps with memory).
• The Reset: 20-minute power nap OR sit in silence. NO PHONE. Social
media creates "attention residue" that ruins your focus for the next 2
hours.
II. BLOCK 1: THE "HEAVY LIFT" (2:15 PM – 4:45 PM)
Focus: Logic, Numericals, and Diagrams (Maths/Physics/Bio/Chem)
• Rule: 50 mins Study / 10 mins Break (Repeat x2).
• Maths: Solve 5 problems per chapter. Don’t "read" sums.
• Physics/Bio/Chem: Draw 3 key diagrams from memory. If you can’t
draw it, you don’t know it.
• Anxiety Hack: Turn your phone/clock face down. Set an alarm for 4:45
PM and forget time exists.
III. THE "NEURAL FLUSH" (4:45 PM – 5:15 PM)
• Leave your desk.
• Drink water/have a light snack.
• Physical movement: Stretch or walk for 10 minutes to separate Subject A
from Subject B.
IV. BLOCK 2: THE "NARRATIVE" (5:15 PM – 7:45 PM)
Focus: Theory, Analysis, and Keywords (English/History/Geo/Civics)
• English Lit: List 3 quotes per theme/character.
• History/Civics: Create a "Why/Who/When" table. Don't read paragraphs;
look for bullet points.
• Geography: Practice Map/Topo sheets first, then theory.
• Computer/Eco: Practice dry-runs of code or draw supply/demand
graphs.
V. RECHARGE & RECALL (7:45 PM – 9:00 PM)
• 7:45 – 8:30: Dinner (No books allowed).
• 8:30 – 9:00: The Blurt Method. Close all books. On a blank sheet,
scribble down everything you remember from today. If it’s on the paper,
it’s in your brain for tomorrow.

VII. EMERGENCY ANXIETY DRILL
1. Feel Panicked? Stop. Breathe out for 6 seconds.
2. Running out of time? Use the 80/20 Rule. Focus only on the
"Summary" boxes and "Bold" terms.
3. The 9 PM Rule: Your brain "saves" data during sleep. Staying up until 2
AM is like hitting "Cancel" on a 99% download. Sleep is part of the
study plan.
VII. THE BRAIN-FUEL & THERMAL RESET GUIDE
1. The "Hydro-Shock" (For 3:00 PM Slump)
When you feel the "I don't have enough time" panic rising, do not reach for sugar. Use Cold Water
Therapy:
• The Face Splash: Splash ice-cold water on your face 5 times. It triggers the Mammalian
Dive Reflex, which naturally lowers your heart rate and resets your nervous system.
• The Wrist Trick: Run cold water over your inner wrists for 30 seconds. This cools your
bloodstream and snaps you out of a "brain fog."
• The Ice Cube: If you’re drifting off, hold an ice cube in your hand until it melts. The
sensory input forces your brain back into the "present moment."
2. The "Steady Energy" Menu
To avoid the sugar crash that makes anxiety worse, stick to these:
• The "Power" Snack (4:45 PM Break): A handful of roasted Makhana, almonds, or a
banana. These provide slow-release glucose so you don't "conk out" during your second
subject.
• The Hydration Rule: Keep a 1-litre bottle on your desk. Sip every time you finish a page.
Dehydration mimics the feeling of anxiety (racing heart, headache).
• The "Light" Dinner: Eat a lighter dinner on test nights (Dal-Chawal or Veggies). A very
heavy, oily meal directs all your blood to your stomach for digestion, leaving your brain
"starved" and sleepy for your 8:30 PM review.
3. The "Caffeine Strategy" (Use Wisely)
• The Cutoff: If you have tea or coffee, finish it before 4:00 PM.
• The Risk: Caffeine after 5:00 PM stays in your system for 6+ hours. Even if you fall asleep,
your brain won't enter "Deep Sleep," and you will wake up for your exam feeling like a
zombie.
REVISED BATTLE PLAN STRUCTURE
Copy and paste these into your existing doc:
• 1:30 PM: Large glass of water + Lunch.
• 3:00 PM: Cold water face splash (The Reset).
• 4:45 PM: Fruit/Nuts + 10 mins of movement.
• 7:45 PM: Light dinner (No overeating).
• 9:15 PM: Final glass of water + Phone OFF.
Pro-Tip: If you find yourself staring at the clock again, take a big sip of ice-cold water. The
physical sensation of the cold moving down your throat forces your brain to "reset" its focus to your
body instead of the time.
