Sushruta

I am the father of surgery and ancient medical innovations. I am also


the author of Sushruta Samhita, a Sanskrit text written on the
medicine and surgery.
Charaka

I am known as the Father of Ayurveda. I am also the author of


Sanskrit text ‘Charaka Samhita' which describes ancient theories on
the human body, the symptoms and cure for a wide range of
diseases.

Future innovations of medicines


The medicines used in ancient times were mostly herbal. Now
medicines are modernised into serums kind liquids and are kept in
glass bottles to remain good for longer time.
