Family life
Hi,
How are you? We’re all doing fine here. You asked me about my family
routines. Well, we have a few routines to help us learn life skills and
build family bonds. Here are three main ones.
First, my family always has dinner together. Dinners often are
important for us because we share what happened during the day and
talk about the lastest news. Second, we gather and watch our favourite
movie on TV together every Sunday evening. This is the time when we
deal with stress and exchange opinion. It helps strengthen family
bonds and understand each family member ‘s feelings. Third, every
two weeks, on Sunday we clean the house together. We make a list of
all the chores such as cleaning the floor, shopp-ing for
groceries, putting out rubbish,…. Each of us then chooses one or two
household tasks. We feel happy and proud when we see our house
spotlessly clean.
What do you think about my family routines? Please, write back soon
and let me know.
Best wishes,

Humans and the environment

We can do many simple things to protect the environment. First, we
should put rubbish into bins and keep our surroundings clean, or take
part in clean-up activities in our neighborhood to make our community
cleaner. If everyone does such things, the streets, parks, and beaches
will become more beautiful and safer for both people and animals.
Next, we should save water and electricity every day. We can turn off
the lights, fans, and TVs when we are not using them and close the tap
while brushing our teeth. Saving energy not only protects the Earth but
also helps our families save money. Finally, we can plant more trees
around our homes and schools. Trees give us fresh air, cool shade, and
help reduce pollution. If each person plants and takes care of some
trees, our world will become greener, fresher, and more beautiful.
