Course Objectives and Outcome

Course Learning Objective:

CLOBJ 1 Define and explain various forms of environmental pollution, including air, water, and
soil pollution.

CLOBJ 2 Understand the role of regulatory bodies and compliance requirements for industries.

CLOBJ 3 Operate methods for measuring and monitoring different pollutants in air, water, and
soil.

CLOBJ 4 Analyse technologies and methods for preventing and controlling pollution in
different environmental media.

CLOBJ 5 Evaluate the principles and practices of controlling air pollutants, including
particulate matter, gases, and volatile organic compounds.

CLOBJ 6 Develop strategies for preventing and treating water pollution, focusing on both point
and non-point sources.

Course Learning Outcomes:

CLO 1 Remember comprehensive understanding of different types of environmental


pollution, their sources, and their impact on ecosystems and human health.

CLO 2 Describe national and international environmental regulations and standards to


assess and ensure compliance in various industrial and urban settings.
