Click the Mailings Tab.
On the Mailings ribbon, click Select
Recipients.
There are two usual options following this
step:
Option 1: Type New List or
Option 2: Use an Existing List

Creating Recipient List: Type New List
Fill in the details on
the row and click
New Entry to add
recipients. You may also
customize the column
values.

Open Excel, then type
in your preferred
values in the first row
and your recipients’
details in the
succeeding rows.

Click Start Mail Merge on the Mailings
ribbon and select Mail Merge Wizard.
A column box will appear on the right side
of the screen with a step-by-step guide.
Select the document type that you will be
using.

Letters - customized greetings
Email - a Word to email content
Envelopes or Labels - similar to a stamp
indicating names and address from the
recipient list
Directory - serves as a contact list

Create your template or Main Document.
Select your recipient from the previous step.
Select the Insert Fields that you want to
place on your document.
Preview your letter.
Make necessary changes.
Print your document.

Labels
Labels are used on envelopes together with the
document created during the mail merge. It may
also be used for different things such as name
tags or gift tags.

Creating Labels
Choose between Envelope or Label.
Option 1: You will have to format your label
according to your preference.
Option 2: You will use a template from
different label vendors.
You may include text or graphics in your
label as your customization.

Add the information or fields that you wish
to include from your recipient list.
Set the proper print properties before
printing the labels to avoid making a
mistake.

1. In the “Reference” tab, choose the writing style that you
want to use. You can choose from APA, Chicago, MLA and
many more.
2. Click “Insert Citation”, and then the “Create Source”
window will be displayed.
3. Fill in the necessary data.
4. Once done inserting, you can put Bibliography in the
document by clicking the “Bibliography” drop-down menu.

Hyperlink
1. Create presentation and insert objects.
2. Click the object that you want to assign hyperlink with.
3. Click the “Insert” button in the ribbon. Then select ”Link”.
4. In the “Insert Hyperlink” window, choose whether to link
the object to a webpage or file, slides within the
document, or email address.

Four Types of Animation
Entrance – used to define how you want the object to
appear on your slide.
Emphasis – used to highlight object.
Exit – used to specify how you want the object to disappear
to your slide.
Motion Path – specify how you want the object to travel
