SUBTITLE:
Discover Electricity Through Creativity
VOICEOVER:
“What if your child could learn science…
not by memorizing—
but by creating?
Welcome to Light Up Your Art.
In this mini course…
children will explore electricity in a simple, visual, and
exciting way.
They won’t just watch—
they’ll build…
experiment…
and see their ideas come to life.
Together we will discover:
⚡ What electricity is
💡 How lights glow
🌀 How motors create movement
And create a real moving paper fan.
Along the way…
children will practice:
✨ Curiosity
✨ Creative thinking
✨ Problem solving
✨ Building confidence through making
This course is designed to encourage children to explore
ideas…
understand how everyday things work…
and enjoy learning through creating and experimenting.
Because learning becomes more exciting when children
can see it…
touch it…
and make it happen themselves.
This course is designed to make science feel joyful,
creative, and easy to understand.
Let’s learn…
explore…
and turn ideas into movement and light.”
SLIDE 2 – WHAT WE WILL LEARN
ON SCREEN TITLE:
What Will We Learn Today?
VOICEOVER:
“Before we start building…
let’s see what exciting things we’re going to learn.
In this lesson, we’ll discover:
⚡ What electricity is
🔋 How a battery stores and gives energy
🟤 How copper tape creates a path
💡 How an LED turns electricity into light
🔄 What a circuit is and why it must be complete
🌀 How a DC motor turns electricity into movement
And finally…
we’ll bring everything together and create our own glowing
paper project.
By the end of this course…
you’ll understand the basics of electricity and build
something that lights up!”

SLIDE 3 – WHAT IS ELECTRICITY?
ON SCREEN TITLE:
What is Electricity? ⚡
VOICEOVER:
“Have you ever turned on a light…
or charged a phone?
That happens because of electricity.
Electricity is a type of energy.
Electricity is made of tiny particles called electrons.
These electrons are too small to see.
When electrons move together through a path…
electricity flows.
As electricity flows…
it helps things work.
It can:
💡 Light a bulb
🌀 Spin a fan
📱 Charge a phone
Electricity needs a path to travel.
That path is called a circuit.”
ON SCREEN TEXT:
Electricity = Moving Electrons ⚡
Electron Movement → Electricity
SLIDE 4 – WHAT IS A BATTERY?
ON SCREEN TITLE:
What is a Battery? 🔋
VOICEOVER:
“Electricity needs energy to move.
That energy comes from a battery.
A battery stores energy inside it.
Inside a battery, tiny particles called electrons are waiting.
When we connect a battery to a circuit…
the battery pushes the electrons to move.
As the electrons move…
electricity flows.
That electricity can make things work.
For example:
💡 A bulb can glow
🌀 A fan can spin
📱 A phone can charge
A battery has two sides:
➕ Positive (+) side
➖ Negative (−) side
Electrons move through the circuit and return back to the
battery.
That is how a battery helps electricity flow.”
ON SCREEN TEXT:
Battery = Stores Energy 🔋
Battery pushes electrons → Electricity flows ⚡
SLIDE 5 – WHAT IS COPPER TAPE?
ON SCREEN TITLE:
What is Copper Tape? 🟤
VOICEOVER:
“We learned that a battery pushes electricity.
But electricity cannot travel through the air.
It needs a path.
Copper tape creates that path.
Copper is a metal that allows electricity to pass through it.
Materials that allow electricity to move are called conductors.
In paper circuits…
copper tape works like a road.
Electrons travel along the copper tape…
carrying electricity from the battery to the light.
If the copper tape breaks…
electricity cannot move…
and the light turns OFF.
That is why the copper path must stay connected.”
ON SCREEN TEXT:
Copper Tape = Path for Electricity 🟤
Copper lets electricity move ⚡
KEY WORD:
Conductor = Lets electricity pass
SLIDE 6 – WHAT IS LED?
ON SCREEN TITLE:
What is LED? 💡
VOICEOVER:
“We learned that electricity moves through copper tape.
But what happens when electricity reaches the end?
That’s where LED comes in.
LED stands for Light Emitting Diode.
LED is a small light that glows when electricity flows through it.
Inside the LED…
electricity changes into light.
That is why LEDs can make cards, toys, and decorations glow.
LED has two legs:
Long leg → Positive (+)
Short leg → Negative (−)
The LED must be connected in the correct direction.
If electricity flows correctly…
the LED lights up.
If connected the wrong way…
the LED stays OFF.”
ON SCREEN TEXT:
LED = Light Emitting Diode 💡
Electricity → Light
Long Leg = +
Short Leg = –
SLIDE 7 – WHAT IS A CIRCUIT?
ON SCREEN TITLE:
What is a Circuit?🔄⚡
VOICEOVER:
“We learned that electricity needs a path to move.
That path is called a circuit.
A circuit is a complete path that allows electricity to travel.
In our paper circuit:
The battery pushes electricity.
Copper tape gives a path.
The LED uses electricity to make light.
There are two types of [Link] circuit and closed
circuit
First…
Closed Circuit.
A closed circuit means the path is complete.
Electricity can move.
So the light turns ON.
Second…
Open Circuit.
An open circuit means the path is broken.
Electricity cannot move.
So the light stays OFF.
To make our paper circuit work…
we need a closed circuit.”
ON SCREEN TEXT:
Circuit = Path for Electricity ⚡
CLOSED CIRCUIT ✅
Complete Path
Electricity Flows
💡 ON
OPEN CIRCUIT ❌
Broken Path
Electricity Stops
💡 OFF
SLIDE – HOW DOES A DC MOTOR WORK?
ON SCREEN TITLE:
How Does a DC Motor Work? 🌀
VOICEOVER:
“Have you ever wondered…
how a fan starts spinning?
Inside every fan…
there is a tiny helper called a motor.
A motor takes electricity…
and turns it into movement.
When electricity enters the motor—
the middle part starts spinning.
And when it spins…
the fan blades spin too!
That means—
electricity doesn’t only make light…
it can also make things move.
Now let’s use a tiny motor…
and make our paper fan spin!”

→ Spin → Moving Fan 🪭
FINAL TEXT:
“Let’s make it move!”
SLIDE 8 – MEET THE PAPER CIRCUIT
ON SCREEN TITLE:
Meet the Paper Circuit✨
VOICEOVER:
“Now it’s time to build our own paper circuit.
Let’s look at the materials.
First…
📄 Paper
This is our base.
Next…
🟤 Copper Tape
This creates the path for electricity.
Then…
🔋 Battery
This gives energy and pushes electricity.
And finally…
💡 LED
This changes electricity into light.
When all these parts are connected correctly…
we make a complete circuit.
And our paper will glow!”
ON SCREEN TEXT:
