Daily Routine for Focus & Discipline
■ Morning (Start Strong)
• Wake up → No Snooze: Place your phone/alarm across the room. First win of the day: you get up
when it rings.
• Immediate Action (3–5 min): Make your bed. Splash cold water on your face. Do 10 pushups / 20
squats. Signals your brain: we do hard things first.
• Mindset Reset (5–10 min): Journal 3 things - 1 gratitude, 1 focus, 1 way to avoid laziness.
■■ Midday (Productivity Block)
• Deep Work (Pomodoro): 25–30 min focus + 5 min break. Do 3–4 rounds. Phone away, no
distractions.
• Accountability Check: Tell someone what you’re working on and update when done.
• Move & Fuel Smart: Eat light meals, avoid greasy food. Take a 10 min walk outside.
■ Evening (Growth Mode)
• Exercise (non-negotiable): Gym, run, or home workout. Builds grit even when you don’t feel like it.
• Skill/Improvement Hour: Read, learn, or practice something useful. Rewire from consumer →
builder.
• Reward After Effort: Entertainment (games, Netflix, etc.) only after completing growth tasks.
■ Night (Wind Down)
• Digital Cut-off: 1 hr before bed → phone away, no endless scrolling.
• Reflect (2 min): What did I do well? Where did I slip? 1 thing to improve tomorrow.
• Sleep: 7–8 hrs. No discipline works if you’re exhausted.
■■ Rules of the Game
• Do hard things first (morning sets the tone).
• Never skip twice (miss a workout? fine. But not two in a row).
• Effort = reward (comfort only comes after grind).
