Microsoft Publisher
Introduction:
MS-Publisher is used for creating visually rich, professional looking publications. You can make
simple things like greeting cards, and catalogs, newsletters, banners, invitation cards etc.
Publisher offers pre-designed templates and other tools to help you create a wide range of
publication types.

1. Design a calendar for the Academic year 2025 - 2026. Insert the relevant images and apply
the suitable background to it.

Microsoft publication is a desktop publishing software.
Publisher can be used to create and design a variety of publications, creating business
cards, greeting cards and newspapers.
Publisher has a large variety of tools to arrange and align text, images and other objects
within the page margins.
There are four types of text effects categories - Shadow, Reflection, Glow and Bevel.
Note for Teachers:
Computer teachers must use a projector while explaining Theory/Practical concepts, as
it helps students understand the computer concepts more effectively through visual
learning.
Given that computer teachers operate within the field of technology, it is advisable for
them to prepare lesson plans in digital format, aligning with best practices and promoting
efficient documentation and sharing.
Theoretical computer concepts, such as the fundamentals of computers. (Example), can
be effectively presented using Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to enhance clarity
and engagement.
Blackboards/whiteboards along with markers or chalk should be used only if a projector
is not available in the school.
