- For 4-markers: List, don't narrate.

- The 4 marks for an AO1 "Describe" question are not awarded for any 4
events. They are awarded for 4 specific, chronologically accurate, and
contextually relevant details.
1. Abraha's march on Makkah with his army and elephants.
2. The Quraysh's inability to defend the Ka'bah.
3. The miraculous destruction of the army by small birds (Ababil) carrying
stones of baked clay (Sijjil).
4. The significance that this event protected the Ka'bah and demonstrated
divine power.
- An AO2 "Explain the importance" question requires a student to evaluate
the impact and consequences.

As a teacher, you must be able to articulate this level of precision immediately.

"Main events" is too generic. You need to think like a mark scheme.

Paper 1:
1. Passages 15, ALLAH in Himself, His relationship with the created world,
God’s messengers. 2 out of 3 will be solved. Total marks 8, 4 for the theme
of both, and 4 for the Importance of both.
2. History & Importance of Quran: Revelation, Compilation, How the Quran
was used in the legal thinking, like Ijma, Qiyas, etc., and the significance of
the Quran in the Muslims' lives. A compulsory question, 6-7 topics will be
covered.
3. Life and Importance of the Prophet Muhammad: From the Prophet’s birth
to death, events, actions, examples, battles, and their importance for
Muslims' beliefs.
4. The first Islamic Community: Prophet’s wives, His descendants, including his
children, grandchildren, and the direct line recognized among Shi’a Muslims
as Imam. His companions, including the Ten blessed companions, His
scribes, the major characters who were surrounded in his ministry, the
Emigrants, and Helpers, the four rightly guided caliphs during his lifetime.
Their names and significant facts of their lives. Explain the importance of
their actions and experiences in the history and beliefs of Islam.
