GENERAL RN INTERVIEW QUESTIONS:

Tell me about yourself.

I’ve been a nurse for about 5-6 years – 3 years working in the hospital in the ICU/IMC unit at
Johns Hopkins, specializing in thoracic and urology surgical patients. When I was in the ICU was
also working in the surgical unit, where we were the PACU post-op. So of course stabilizing
patients who were on sedation drips or just weaning off anesthesia and needed a night of extra
recovery. After a few months, I switched over to the IMC unit and managed patients on
telemetry and various chest tubes, etc. After some time in the hospital, I decided the best thing
for me is to step away from the hospital to explore other nursing options and worked at a COVID
vaccination site in a leadership role for a months, then worked as a telehealth nurse for 3 years.
In that job, it was mostly independent work working with ED medications. Where I triaged
