VI. RATIONALE
Republic Act No. 10472 Section 20 under the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform
Act of 2015 governs provision regarding sports development.
Furthermore, both the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan
and Annual Barangay Investment Program shall give priority to programs,
projects and activities that will promote and ensure the equitable access to
quality education, environmental protection, disaster risk reduction and
resiliency, capacity building, youth employment and livelihood, health and
anti- drug abuse, sports development, and active citizenship.
In connection therewith, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Bagtic
will be implementing Sports Development Program. Such sports activities
provide significance to the youth as it helps them to maintain physical and
mental well- being, and overall personality of an individual.
VII. OBJECTIVES
For the Katipunan ng Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Bagtic to:
A. Unite, as one of the Katipunan ng Sangguniang Kabataan of
Barangay Bagtic.
B. Value the importance of sports to human life.
C. Provide better opportunities for the sports participation to develop
sportsmanship and camaraderie among others.
