 I have always wanted to teach and my enthusiasm to do so has increased greatly over the past few years .

Being
a mother I feel that tolerance and understanding of children has just come naturally to me. The idea of teaching
children is exciting I really craft to be a teacher that not only teaches well but also can be caring and
understanding the childrens learning and development. To see children's progress in learning and know that I
have made that happen is a huge ambition of mine. It helped me not only during my exams but also I could
apply this knowledge in everyday life. As a mother of two children I feel that my theoretical knowledge helped
me to understand the needs and behaviours of my kids. Through the time in my placement at primary schools
and nursery I have embarked on a number of activities which exhibit my more positive qualities that I have
thoroughly developed within the past few years. Such activities include helping out at events such as cinema
trips , pantomime shoe and photography events. During my work experience I mainly worked with children one
to one helping those who find the work more challenging as well as listening to children read helping to prepare
class materials and helping with their planned curriculum based activities. Some children I worked with were
very [Link] I have interest in wide range of subject areas and activities such as mathematics science arts
and crafts and I believe this would benefit me and the students as I will be passionate an enthusia stick when I
teach them. I believe I possess many of the skills required to be a good teacher many that were developed
further during my work experience my organisational skills patience and positive energy being just a few
examples I love the idea that I will somehow be able to shape the future of young children and play an important
role in their development. I also understand just how challenging and demanding the role of a school teacher or
support worker but I think it is a very rewarding career that I would be very suited to. I am caring person that
makes me well suited to work with children and I believe I have a positive personality and cheerful disposition
that can engage children effectively as well as being able to maintain a good reppert with the students. At
college I have also studied first aid course that build confidence in me and would be helpful in everyday life. I
respect equality and diversity and I know that every child comes to school with a unique personality and
learning styles. To read teach each child affectively teachers must respect the differences and work with each
Childs style rather than try to force the child to adapt to another style. Studying childcare course and work
experience equipped me with the skills that allowed me to be a successful support worker and that my
enthusiasm stands out allowing me to proceed on the pathway to becoming a qualified teacher. Planning lessons
that will engage young children and educate them at the same time takes creativity. Adapting lessons to
individual learning styles requires flexibility. Regardless of how organised a teacher is and how well she has
planned the day she needs to remain flexible to handle all the glitches that can throw off the day . She must also
be willing to change plans and ideas as needed . A successful early childhood development teacher will use
creativity and flexibility to make everyday a positive one for herself and for the children. Children come from
different home environments and backgrounds which can lead to different learning styles and I would be able to
accept those differences and be willing to work with varied learning styles to ensure all students leave the
classroom having achieved the identified learning objectivs. I am confident that all the transferable skills and
research skills I have acquired during my time in college and at placement will be incredibly beneficial to me
and will prepare me to study more as I have a great passion and love for knowledge.
