Good day!
In line with DepEd Order No. 010, s. 2025, titled “Guidelines for the Implementation
of the 2025 Department of Education Summer Programs” released on April 7, 2025, I am
writing to formally express my intent to conduct Literacy Reading Program (LRP) for 83
learners and Summer Academic Remedial Program for 42 learners at Alaska Elementary
School. This will be conducted by 5 volunteer teachers.
This initiative aims to address critical reading challenges among learners and provide
targeted interventions to support struggling readers. As these learners prepare to transition
to the next grade level where English becomes the primary medium of instruction across
multiple subjects. It is crucial to strengthen their reading comprehension and overall English
literacy proficiency.
The program will focus on enhancing foundational reading skills, vocabulary
development, and reading comprehension strategies to better equip the learners for the
academic demands of the upcoming school year.
In this connection, we respectfully seek your approval and guidance in implementing
this program in alignment with existing DepEd policies and guidelines.
