We are excited to announce that our Science Fair preparations have begun! To keep you
informed, here is a clear outline of the process and what your child will experience:
Steps of the Science Fair
1. Group Formation
o Students will be arranged into small groups.
o Each group will work together to plan and carry out their own experiment.
2. Choosing a Topic
o Groups will brainstorm ideas and select a scientific question or theme.
o Teachers will guide them to ensure topics are age-appropriate and safe.
3. Planning the Experiment
o Students will design their experiment step by step.
o They will identify materials, predict outcomes, and assign roles within the group.
4. Conducting the Experiment
• Groups will carry out their experiments in class under supervision.
• They will record observations, collect data, and reflect on results.
5. Preparing the Presentation
• Each group will create a window chart to explain their project.
• This will include their question, method, results, and conclusion.
6. The Science Fair Event
• On the day of the fair, students will present their experiments to parents, teachers, and
peers.
• This is a celebration of curiosity, teamwork, and creativity!
