Types of Soil in India:


• Alluvial Soil – Found in Northern Plains, very fertile.
• Black Soil – Found in Maharashtra and Gujarat, good for cotton.
• Red Soil – Found in South India, rich in iron.
• Laterite Soil – Found in hilly areas with heavy rainfall.
• Desert Soil – Found in Rajasthan, sandy and dry.

Before Guru Nanak Dev Ji, society suffered from caste discrimination.
Women had fewer rights and social status was low.
The Lodhi dynasty ruled parts of India during that time.
People needed social and religious reforms.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji travelled to spread peace, equality, and devotion to God.
His journeys are called Udasis.
