Human Person and
Values Environment
The human values can be defined as the ideas that
direct our actions. in theses they are analogous to
goals, intention, polices etc. All these are ideas the
direct our actions.

There are 5 types of human

values:
1. Honesty
EXPLANATION : Honesty means telling the truth, being sincere, and
avoiding deception. It helps build trust and strong relationships.
Example : You find a lost wallet at school and return it to the teacher instead of
keeping it.

2. Respect
EXPLANATION : Respect means treating others with kindness, listening
to their opinions, and valuing their rights and differences.
Example : You listen quietly while your classmate is speaking, even if you have
a different opinion.
3. Responsibility
Explanation : Responsibility means being accountable for your
actions and completing your tasks without being reminded.
Example : You finish your homework on time and help with
household chores every day.
4. Compassion
Explanation : Compassion means caring about other people's
feelings and wanting to help when they are in need.
Example : You comfort a friend who is feeling sad and offer
to help them with their schoolwork.

5. Perseverance
Explanation : Perseverance means continuing to work hard even
when things are difficult or you face setbacks.
Example : You keep practicing for a math test even after
getting a low score on the first quiz, and eventually
improve your grade.
A healthy environment that promotes human values is one where people treat one another with
respect, kindness, honesty, and responsibility. In this environment, every individual is valued
regardless of their background, beliefs, or abilities. People work together, communicate openly,
and support each other during challenges.

For example, in a school community, students help classmates who are struggling, teachers
encourage fairness and respect, and everyone follows rules that create a safe and welcoming
atmosphere. Acts of compassion, cooperation, integrity, and empathy are practiced every day,
helping individuals grow into responsible and caring members of society.

summary

Human being is one who can reason, take decisions and create relationships with other people. Being
human beings, we operate on the basis of human values that affect our behavior and decision
making process. Such human values are honesty, respect, responsibility, compassion and
perseverance. A good environment will foster these human values through fostering kindness,
respect, honesty and responsibility. This way, we will develop to be caring and productive human
beings.
Core Good Citizenship Values
Description :

Good citizenship values form the ethical and moral foundation that guides individuals to live
responsibly, harmoniously, and productively within their communities. These principles are
grouped into four essential clusters:

1. Faith and Spirituality: Cultivating a strong spiritual foundation while maintaining a deep
respect for life, law, and order.
Examples : Respecting beliefs: Being mindful and respectful of friends or coworkers who
practice a different religion, such as allowing them time to pray or respecting their dietary
restrictions.
Valuing life and order: Taking care of your physical and mental health, and treating your own
life—and the lives of those around you with dignity and care.

2. Humanity and Compassion: Upholding equality, justice, and truth. This means treating everyone with
respect, promoting freedom and peace, and showing genuine concern for others.
Examples : Showing basic kindness: Offering your seat on a crowded bus or train to an elderly person, a pregnant woman,
or someone with a disability.
Upholding equality: Treating service workers (like waiters, security guards, and janitors) with the exact same politeness
and respect you would give to a manager or a CEO.
Promoting peace: Acting as a mediator when friends or family members are arguing, rather than adding fuel to the fire.
3. Patriotism and Unity : Committing to the common good, respecting and following the rule of law,
and fostering a deep, active love for one's country.
Examples : Following the rules: Stopping at red lights and using proper pedestrian lanes, even when there are no traffic
enforcers around.
Supporting local: Buying produce from local farmers or choosing products made by local artisans to help strengthen the
national economy.
Committing to the common good: Paying your taxes honestly and on time, recognizing that these funds build schools, roads,
and hospitals.

4. Environmental Stewardship: Practicing responsible care for nature and the environment to ensure a
healthy, sustainable future for all generations.
Examples : Managing waste: Strictly segregating your trash at home into biodegradables and recyclables, and refusing to
litter in the streets.
Conserving resources: Turning off the faucet while brushing your teeth, unplugging appliances when not in use, and bringing a
reusable tote bag to the grocery store.
Youth Moral Recovery
and Development
Focus Areas
To empower young people as active drivers of social progress,
moral development initiatives focus on equipping the youth with
strong character and a deep sense of societal duty. The core
areas of focus include:

Character Development: Actively unlearning negative societal

habits—such as prioritizing foreign ideals over local ones or
putting personal interests above the community—and replacing
them with integrity, personal discipline, and perseverance.

Civic Responsibility: Prioritizing the collective welfare of the

public through dedicated community service, volunteerism, and
active participation in society.

Critical Thinking and Civic Courage: Empowering the youth to

stand firmly against corruption and injustice while defending
truth and respecting human diversity.
That’s it
