MA: Good morning, everyone! If you can hear us, welcome to the stadium.
We are just a few minutes away
from starting. YT: It is a beautiful morning here in Karachi. The sun is out, the track looks perfect, and I can see
the stands filling up fast. SA: Absolutely. To all the parents just walking in, welcome! Please take your time to
find the best seats. We want everyone comfortable before the action begins.
PHASE 2: THE "SETTLING IN" FILLERS (To use while waiting)
(Use these small blocks of dialogue to fill the silence while people are finding seats. Bounce these between SA,
YT, and MA naturally.)
Filler A: Housekeeping (The "Sit Down" Request) MA: A gentle request to our guests: please try to keep the
main walkways and the staircases clear. We have a lot of fast-paced movement happening today, and we want
everyone to be safe. SA: Yes, and for the parents with cameras—we know you want that perfect shot! Don't
worry, you will get plenty of opportunities. We just ask that you stay behind the designated ropes so our runners
have a clear track.
Filler B: The "Weather/Vibe" Check YT: You know, there is something special about a winter morning
sports day. The air is crisp, the energy is high... it’s perfect running weather. MA: It really is. And looking at
the students lining up near the holding area, I don't think I've seen them this excited all year. They are literally
bouncing on their toes.
Filler C: The "Parent Shoutout" SA: I want to give a shoutout to the parents who woke up early on a Sunday
(or Saturday) to get the uniforms ironed, the breakfasts made, and the kids here on time. You guys are the real
MVPs. YT: 100%. The athletes run the race, but the parents fuel the engine. Thank you for being here!
PHASE 3: THE TRANSITION (The Signal to Start)
(This is the crucial moment. You get the signal from the PE Head or Principal that "We are ready to start." You
need to kill the casual vibe and create silence for the dramatic intro.)
MA: (Checking watch/Signal) Okay... it looks like the teams are in position. SA: The field is set. The waiting is
over. YT: Ladies and gentlemen, the countdown has finished. MA: We are going to take a brief pause to let the
atmosphere settle. SA: Sit back, relax, and get ready. It’s showtime.
(SILENCE FOR 5-10 SECONDS)
(Then, YT takes a deep breath, changes their voice to be serious and dramatic, and begins the Official Script:)
YT: "They say that champions aren’t born in a gym..."
