Title: The Candidate’s Choice

Theme: Leadership is the truth you tell when the "vibe" is at stake.

Characters:

1. Mustafa (Narrator): The "Hype-Man." High energy, talks to the audience like a
YouTuber.

2. Ranbir: The Lead Candidate. Intense, "Main Character" energy, but currently
panicking.

3. Diljeet: Ranbir’s Campaign Manager. Jolly, high energy, uses Gen Z slang (vro,
aura, no cap).

4. Gautami: Student Council Head. The "Final Boss" of rules. Sharp and observant.

5. Sourav: The Rival Candidate. Ranbir’s childhood friend and academic

competitor.

6. Varun: The School "Influencer." Always filming, obsessed with "clout" and the
school's image.

7. Nilesh: The Clumsy Junior. Accidentally saw the whole thing happen.

[SCENE START]

MUSTAFA (NARRATOR): (Walks center stage, checking his phone) Yo! Welcome to
the endgame. The Head Boy elections. One badge. One winner. (Points to Ranbir and
Diljeet) These two are the favorites. But five minutes ago, the "Heritage Trophy" met
Ranbir’s elbow. (Sound effect: CRASH!)

DILJEET: (Sprinting in, holding a glue bottle) Vro! Ranbir! I got the superglue! If we fix
the handle and put it back in the case, nobody will notice for weeks. No cap, your
"Aura" stays 100% and you get that badge!

RANBIR: (Shaking, staring at the trophy) Diljeet, that’s a 50-year-old relic. If I start my
leadership with a cover-up, am I even fit to wear the badge?

VARUN: (Walking in, filming on his phone) Oh my god, guys! The "Vibes" in here are
terrible! Why is the trophy looking... crooked? If Ma’am sees this, the school's
Instagram page is ruined! (He looks at Ranbir) Ranbir, just fix it. I’ll delete the video.
We need a "Perfect Leader" for the school's brand!

DILJEET: See, vro?! Even Varun is saying it! Don’t be a "L-plus-Ratio" candidate. Just
glue it!

NILESH: (Walking in, holding a stack of books, looking terrified) Uh... guys? I saw the
whole thing from behind the curtain. Ranbir... you... you hit it with your backpack.

DILJEET: (Jumping in front of Nilesh) Nilesh! Vro! You saw nothing! You were
hallucinating from studying too much! Here, have a chocolate, go to class!

NILESH: But my mom says a leader doesn’t hide his messes. (He looks at Ranbir) Are
you going to tell Ma’am, Ranbir? Or do I have to "Check the air quality" in the office?
MUSTAFA (NARRATOR): (To the audience) WHOA. The pressure is rising! Varun
wants the clout, Diljeet wants the win, and Nilesh is the witness. Enter the Rival.

SOURAV: (Walking in, looking sharp) Good luck today, Ranbir. We’ve been competing
for this since 1st Grade. (He looks at the trophy, then at Ranbir’s messy hands) Hey...
why is there glue on your blazer? And why is the Heritage Trophy sitting at a weird
angle?

DILJEET: (Quickly) It’s... uh... "Modern Art," Sourav! It’s a new school aesthetic. You
wouldn’t get it, vro. Focus on your interview!

SOURAV: (Looking Ranbir in the eye) Ranbir, we’re friends. I saw you run out of the
trophy room. If that thing is broken, and you don't say anything, you'll win. Ma’am
loves you. Just... keep it low-key, and the badge is yours. I won't snitch.

MUSTAFA (NARRATOR): (To the audience) The rival just gave him a free pass! The
influencer is ready to delete the evidence! What’s the move?

GAUTAMI: (Opening the interview door, holding a clipboard) Ranbir. Ma’am is ready
for you. Final question: "How will you maintain the school’s integrity?"

VARUN: (Whispering) Say something deep about "Success," Ranbir! Go!

RANBIR: (Looks at the glue on his hands, then at Nilesh, then at Sourav. He turns to
Gautami.) I can’t go in there.

DILJEET: (Facepalming) Vro, no! Our winning streak!

RANBIR: (To Gautami) Before the interview starts, I need to report something. I broke
the Heritage Trophy five minutes ago. I tried to glue it back to save my reputation, but
a Head Boy who lies to his school isn't a leader—he’s a fraud.

VARUN: (Lowers his phone, shocked) You actually just tanked your own career for a
piece of glass?

RANBIR: I didn't tank my career, Varun. I saved my character. (To Sourav) You can
have the title, Sourav. I’ll keep the truth.

NILESH: (Nodding slowly) Now that is what I call a leader.

GAUTAMI: (Writing on her clipboard) That took more guts than any speech I’ve ever
heard. (To Sourav) Sourav, you’re up for the interview. (To Ranbir) But Ranbir... don't
leave. Ma’am needs to see this "cracked" trophy... and the guy honest enough to own
it.

MUSTAFA (NARRATOR): (Stepping center stage) Sourav became the Head Boy that
day. He got the badge. He got the photo on Varun’s Instagram.

MUSTAFA (NARRATOR): But in the hallway, every student knew who the real leader
was. Because a badge can be pinned on anyone... but Truth has to be earned.

ALL CHARACTERS: (Stepping forward together) WINNING IS TEMPORARY.

INTEGRITY IS FOREVER!

[SCENE END]
Would you like me to suggest some "Props" (like a giant fake phone for
Varun or a messy stack of books for Nilesh) to make the characters pop on
stage?
