A. The Plant Fairy Game
Last Sunday, Ammu, Shabnam, Dayaram and Michael went to the
garden along with their Didi to play hide and seek. They had enjoyed
a [Link] sometime, their Didi said – “Let us play and enjoy a new
game today. We had played this game last year during the camp. I will
be a ‘Plant fairy’. The ‘Plant fairy’ will one by one call out names of
things and you all have to go and touch that thing.”
The game started. Didi mentioned – “The ‘Plant fairy’ wants you to go
and touch a plant”. At once, all the children rushed towards the plant.
Didi said — Well Done! All have touched a plant. But did you notice
that all the plants look very different from each other ? Shabnam said,
Didi you are also sitting on small plants.

A. Poonam’s Story
Poonam is a nice and obedient girl. She has fever. Her mom told her to
sleep on a cot. While She was sleeping on the cot in the open
something fell on her cheek. She tried to wipe it with a leaf but her
cheek was still sticky. Being a wise girl, she immediately understood
that it was the poop of a bird. Finally, she went to the pond to wash her
face where she was introduced to the animal kingdom for the first time.

At the pond, Poonam saw lot of animals. She tried to identify the

The tortoise had come out of its shell and was enjoying under the sun.
The frogs were jumping in and out of the water. The crane was trying
to hunt some fish.

Water can occur in three forms: solid (ice), liquid, or gas (vapour).
Solid water—ice is frozen water. Liquid water is what we consume.
Vapour form of water is present in air around us.

present in water).
