SKIT

Scene – 1

(Classroom – students are sitting bored, waiting for Chemistry/Physics teacher. Suddenly, a
student enters with an announcement.)

Student 1:

Guys, today Physics Sir is absent!

Whole class (together):

Yesss! Thank God!

(Suddenly Sports Sir enters with a whistle)

Sports Sir:

Arre arre… khush mat ho itna. Physics Sir absent hai, toh ab main padhaunga aapko!

Student 2:

Sir, aap jo bas ball phekna sikhate ho, uske formula ka kya hoga?

Sports Sir (confidently):

Simple hai! Motion = cricket ball ki speed.

Force = canteen ki line mein aage ghusne ki koshish

Gravity = tumhare marks ka downfall hona.

Whole class (laughing & clapping):

Waah sir, Physics ab samajh aayi!

Student 3:

Sir, agar Chemistry bhi aap padhaao toh?

Sports Sir:

Chemistry? Arre beta, who toh simple hai!

Chemistry = jab tum exam mein padosi se bond banate ho.

Whole class:

Hahahahaha!!

Scene ends

Scene 2

Teacher:

Okay class, can anyone tell me who invented the light bulb?

Student 1:

Ma’am, it was Thomas Edison.

Teacher:

Very good!

Student 2 (confidently):
Ma’am, galat! Light bulb toh humare bijli board wale uncle ne invent kiya tha… roj 2 ghante
ke liye light le jaate hain!

(Whole class bursts into laughter)

Teacher (facepalm):

Bas karo tum log!

Scene ends

Scene 3

(Teachers move to the staffroom, having their lunch and talking about their entire day)

Hindi Teacher:

Arre, tum logon ki yeh nayi peedhi toh bas dikhave mein doobi rehti hai,

hamare zamane mein toh kitabon ki khushboo hi hamari saanson mein basi rehti thi aur
anushaasan hi hamari pehchaan thi.

English Teacher:

Aaj aapko pata hai meri class mein ek bachche ne aisa jawab diya, that I was genuinely
overwhelmingly flabbergasted!

With such an eloquence!!

Maths Teacher:

Meri class ka haal itna bekaar hai ki jaise hi main class mein kadam rakhta hoon, bachche
9 do 11 ho jaate hain.
Matlab mujhe lagta hai mera aana bachchon ki IQ ko seedha download spiral mein daal
deta hai.

Chemistry Teacher:

Aur main toh kya hi bataun, aaj kal class mein bachcho ke bahut hi bonds ban rahe hain!!

(Everyone starts laughing)

Scene ends

Scene 4

Screen shows multiple students and one teacher trying to manage the class)

Teacher:

Hello? Hello?? Can everyone hear me?

Student 1 (innocent):

Yes ma’am… but we can also hear your pressure cooker in the background.

Teacher (embarrassed):

Arre… who… ignore that! Okay, open your books to page—

Student 2 (freezes his screen):

“Ma’am… ma’am… network… not working…”

(but secretly munching chips while pretending to be frozen)

Teacher:

Beta… I can see you eating!

Student 3 (mic unmuted, loud background noise):

“Mummyyyyy, Wi-Fi password kya hai?”

Teacher (shouting):

Mute yourself! Everyone mute your mics!

Student 4 (puts funny background):

Sets background of Maldives beach

“Ma’am, I’m attending class from vacation!”

Teacher (facepalm):

Beta, you’ll get a vacation from school also at this rate.

Student 5:

Ma’am, can I go to the washroom?

Teacher (confused):

But… you’re at home??

Student 5 (seriously):

Yes ma’am, but rules are rules… permission toh lena padta hai.

(Class laughs)

Teacher (sighs):
Bas! Now, can we start chapter 5?

Student 6 (innocently):

Ma’am, actually you’re on mute.

Teacher (frustrated scream):

ARRGGHHH!

(Everyone bursts into laughter, teacher gives dramatic facepalm.)

Scene ends

Scene 5

Scene: Staff room, next day. Teachers are sitting with tea and snacks, laughing about
yesterday’s online class.]

Hindi Teacher:

“Kal main poem padha rahi thi… aur ek bachcha background mein bol raha tha — ‘Mummy,
mute kar do! Teacher ki awaaz aa rahi hai!’ … Matlab, main toh kahaani suna rahi thi, unko
horror movie lag rahi thi!”

English Teacher:

“Oh, that’s nothing. I asked a student, ‘Can you give me an example of a metaphor?’ … He
looked blank, then said — ‘Ma’am, Zoom itself is a metaphor… hum log connected bhi hain,
disconnected bhi.’ … Bas, mujhe hi metaphor bana diya!”

Maths Teacher:
“Arre wah, mere saath toh aur bhi mast hua. I was explaining x + y = z, and one kid goes —
‘Sir, equation chhodo… batao, camera mein aapke piche jo parda hai, uska pattern kaunsa
hai? Geometry toh wahaan bhi hai!’”

Chemistry Teacher:

“Hah! Mere experiment toh aur advanced nikle. I said — ‘Students, water plus salt gives you
solution.’ Ek bachcha bola — ‘Sir, toh homework plus stress ka kya solution hai?’ … Ab
mujhe bhi lag raha hai chemistry se zyada psychology padhna chahiye tha!”

[All laugh together.]

English Teacher (sighs):

“Bas, online ho ya offline… ek hi constant hai.”

Maths Teacher:

“Kaunsa?”

English Teacher:

“Students ki creativity… aur humari patience!”

[All teachers laugh again. Curtain closes.]

Scene ends.

Skit ends.
