Two scientists are near the end of a groundbreaking discovery, but what will
happen if animal DNAs was spliced with a human DNA?
Clive Nicoli and Elsa Kast are scientists of the Newstead Pharmaceutics researching the splice of
DNA from different animals to form new genetic beings and find medical benefits to mankind.
They have just created the hybrid Ginger and Fred and now they intend to join together human
DNA to alter the genetic structure of their experiment.
But when Clive and Elsa are told by their management to halt the groundbreaking work that has
seen them produce new creatures with medical benefits by splicing together multiple organisms'
DNA, they decide to secretly continue their work, but this time splicing in human DNA. A Life
form with human characteristics. They proceed in raising this life form in their laboratory
teaching it human behaviors like reading and spelling words. Elsa named the creature, Dren,
which reads backwards as Nerd. However, they were caught when Clive’s brother, Gavin saw
what they were hiding in their laboratory.
This forced them to bring Dren to the basement area where they continue to raise Dren while
doing their job as scientists to Newstead. The day of the presentation to the public came but it
led to a disastrous outcome completely stopping their research. They then brought Dren to Elsa's
abandoned farm and raised Dren like a daughter.
However, when Dren reaches adulthood, her sexdrive was also activated where she seduced
Clive. Elsa saw this, leave, but Clive followed to talk to her. Upon going back to the farm, they
discovered Dren’s lifeless body where the couple burried her in the woods.
In the meantime, William Barlow from NERD discovers their little secret after he finds human
DNA in the protein that Elsa had shared with him. That’s when Dren, now metamorphosed into a
male, returns and starts ruthlessly killing everyone. Dren’s male instinct takes over and he even
rapes Elsa. Clive gets killed by Dren and then Elsa reluctantly murders Dren.
In the closing of the film, Elsa seems to be pregnant with Dren’s child while her superior at NERD
convinces her to keep the baby. She even offers Elsa a large sum of money for doing so as the
bodily compounds in Dren’s DNA could very well be useful for the company.
