D353 Talent Management Plan Task 3

A1.

Training and development can help floor agents advance within the organization by developing
leadership skills. Effective leadership skills can open doors for management positions.
Furthermore, the better the training, the more opportunities for organizational expansion,
opening more positions for floor agents.

A2.

Training and development can be utilized to move floor agents into succession planning for
different promotions. During training, the organization can identify early talent for
management positions, establishing who has the potential to step up. Moving into the
succession planning stage, core competencies and skill gaps will be defined so that when a
promotion is available, the floor agents will be prepared. Also, during succession planning, a
career path and trajectory will be defined based on the available leadership and/or
management position.

A3.

The training and development program will help floor agents define a career path that suits
them. The use of mentorship and coaching will be vital for guidance and career knowledge for
the future. During training, identifying skills gaps to analyze current abilities to future abilities
will help create a specific career path.

B1.

Trainer communication affects performance feedback positively by providing clear instructions

that help trainees understand expectations. Effective verbal communication between trainees
and the trainers builds trust and creates an environment of feeling valued and respected.
Trainer communication can help mitigate conflict by de-escalating situations through active
non-verbal listening to trainees. Also, a trainer treating mistakes as offers mitigates conflicts for
trainees.

B2.

Trust and communication build trust in the training program by encouraging trainees to
embrace a culture of openness. Trainees will be more active during training, feeling safe to ask
questions and share any ideas that come to mind. Trust and communication also build stronger
professional relationships between trainees and trainers.

C.
To ensure accessibility during training, we will ensure training locations are accessible for
people with physical or mental disabilities, including furniture, restrooms, ramps, etc. We will
ensure there are screen readers available for people with vision or hearing impairments.

To ensure identity inclusivity during training, we will avoid stereotypes about gender, race, age,
or culture. Trainees will set the tone for a culture of respect with all cultures.

During training, different learning styles will be incorporated to ensure everyone learns. We will
design learning experiences for visual, auditory, and hands-on learners. We will also take into
account that some people learn at their own pace and may need more time to learn.
