 Cons: Requires technical knowledge to configure correctly; incorrect
configuration can cause network connectivity issues; potential for IP address

Configuration Steps by Operating System

1. Windows (Windows 10/11)

Automatic (DHCP)

This is the default setting on Windows.

1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status (or the specific connection type
like Wi-Fi or Ethernet).

 Ping (Latency): The reaction time of your connection, measured in milliseconds
(ms). A lower number means a more responsive connection (crucial for gaming
and live applications).

You can use a web browser or a dedicated desktop application.

1. Open any web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.).
