Notes-

If your two strands are the same color you can skip knitting the cast on edge, cu hem, and body
hem in the single strand of bulky yarn. This is done to create a contrasting edge with the marled knit
and is unnecessary if the two strands are the same color.

When you switch from the 4.5 mm needle to the 6.5 mm needle after finishing the collar. The
stitches will feel tight on the needles. Metal needles can help with keeping the stitches moving. Or if
you work with interchangeable needles, you can put a smaller tip on your left side but just
remember to switch them as you turn your work to do the short rows.

To modify the sweater to be larger, once you’ve knit the yoke to 12” you can continue working
rounds but only work the increases on the body not the sleeves. With the raglan construction you’re
able to try it on as you go to achieve your desired fit.

To modify sleeve length, you can either add another row of decreases which will make the cu a
little tighter. Or do decrease every (7) rows instead of (6) to gain an extra 1.25” in the sleeve.

Pattern begins here

Collar-

Using the long tail cast on method C/O 80 stitches on 4.5 mm needles on the smaller cable with
only the Bulky yarn. Place a BOR marker and join in the round and knit in 1x1 rib for one round with a

holding double. Work collar until the ribbing measures 2.5”.
