I NTRODUCTION
D

This unit covers drama and the elements of drama. Here you will be presented with a brief comparison
between drama and other forms of literature presenting their similarities and differences, and how to
analyze the elements of drama.

O BJECTIVES
After reviewing the contents of the module students will:

 identify similarities and differences of drama when compared to fiction and poetry.
 discuss his/her opinion about the difference of reading a play and watching it being performed.
 identify the elements of fiction within a drama.
 analyze the plot of a play.
 create a composition analyzing the characters of a play.
