Observe two employees/students from different backgrounds and analyse how
environment, upbringing, and personality traits influence their behaviour at the
workplace/classroom.
2. Personality Mapping using Big Five Model
Select a working professional/entrepreneur and assess their personality using the Big
Five Personality Traits. Suggest suitable job roles for them.
3. Johari Window – Self Awareness Exercise
Conduct a Johari Window analysis on yourself using peer feedback and explain how
it helps in improving interpersonal relations at work.
4. Attitude Change at Workplace
Identify a real organisation where employee attitude changed due to leadership,
incentives, or organisational culture. Analyse the methods used to change attitude.
5. Emotional Reading in Customer Service
Study a retail store/hospital/bank and explain how employees read and manage
customer emotions.
6. Personality Traits & Organisational Behaviour
Analyse how traits like locus of control, risk-taking, or Type A/B personality
influence decision-making at the workplace.

ASSIGNMENT II – Fundamentals of Thinking, Learning & Perception


1. Thinking Hats in Managerial Decision Making
Apply Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats to solve a real managerial problem
(e.g., declining sales, employee conflict).
2. Learning Theories at Workplace
Explain how classical conditioning, operant conditioning, and social learning are
used in employee training programmes.
3. Critical Thinking in Management
Analyse a business decision that failed due to lack of critical thinking. Suggest
strategies that could have improved the outcome.
4. Role of Emotional Intelligence in Leadership
Study a successful leader and explain how self-awareness, self-management, and
relationship management contributed to their success.
5. Perceptual Errors in Organisations
Identify examples of halo effect, stereotyping, and prejudice in hiring or
performance appraisal systems.

Compare the importance of IQ, EQ, and SQ in modern organisations with suitable
examples.

ASSIGNMENT III – Group Behaviour & Organisational Processes


1. Group Dynamics in Classroom or Office
Observe a team project and analyse roles, norms, status, and group processes affecting
performance.
2. Team Effectiveness Study
Study a successful sports team/start-up and explain the factors contributing to team
effectiveness.
3. Power and Politics in Organisations
Analyse a real organisational situation where power or politics influenced decision-
making.
4. Bases of Power – Practical Examples
Identify leaders using legitimate, reward, coercive, expert, or referent power in
organisations.
5. Conflict Management Case Study
Study a workplace conflict and explain how it was resolved using any of the five
conflict resolution strategies.
6. Impact of Organisational Politics on Employees
Evaluate positive and negative effects of organisational politics on employee morale
and productivity.

ASSIGNMENT IV – Organisational Change, Creativity & Motivation


1. Organisational Change Analysis using Lewin’s Model
Study a company that has undergone change (technology, structure, culture) and
analyse it using Unfreeze–Change–Refreeze model.
2. Creativity in Decision Making
Analyse how creative thinking helped an organisation solve a major problem or
innovate a product.
3. Qualities of a Creative Manager
Study a known entrepreneur/manager and identify creative qualities that helped
organisational growth.
4. Motivation Theories in Practice
Compare Maslow, Herzberg, McGregor, and Pink’s theory with real workplace
examples.
5. Carrot and Stick Approach at Workplace
Analyse how positive and negative reinforcement are used to motivate employees in
organisations.
6. Design a Motivation Plan
Prepare a motivation plan for employees of a company considering monetary and
non-monetary incentives.
Choose any one out of the four assignments mentioned above.
Assignment Format:
• Neatly handwritten on A4 size papers
• Use of diagrams, flowcharts, tables, screenshots, newspaper articles and real-life
examples is encouraged
• Final assignment must be scanned and compiled into a single PDF after teacher
verification
