A Food Festival Day
Hello! My name is Ege, and I love exploring my neighbourhood. I live in a busy city
centre with many shops, restaurants, and historical places. At the weekend, I usually
spend time outside and enjoy different activities.
On Saturday, my friends and I go to a food festival. We try delicious street food like
kebab, tacos, and desserts. There are many people, and the atmosphere is exciting. We
also listen to music and watch performances. Sometimes, we visit museums or walk
around the market.
On Sunday, we travel around the city. We use public transport like buses and trams. We

NAME: ________________________________________

SPEAKING

One day, I will go on a worldwide trip to explore different cultures.

My first stop will be a tourist information centre, and I will fill in an
application form. I will need to gather information and get a
guidebook to locate historical sites and old-fashioned markets.
During my travels, I want to rent a scooter to tour the city and join
a motorbike race in another country. If I had more experience, I
would join a professional motorbike race. I wish I could ride a
motorbike faster so I could win a race one day. I will also have the
chance to fly in a helicopter over the mountains! Are you interested
in a sightseeing tour to historical places? I can also suggest you rent
bikes. If you rent a bike, you cycle around the city. Do you enjoy
attending a street food feast?
In the evenings, I don‛t mind relaxing by the beach after a long day
of sightseeing, or visiting a collection of traditional artwork. I really
enjoy visiting the embassies to learn about a country‛s history
and customs. If I visited more countries, I would learn many new
traditions. If only I had more time in each place, I would explore
even the smallest villages.
Finally, I will board a ship to sail across the ocean, enjoying the
mirror-like water surface. It will be an unforgettable cheerful trip!
