Job Description
Overview of the Opportunity:
A senior developer at GlobalDWS is involved in solving critical problems for our robotic solutions. At GlobalDWS
we design and develop service robot and AI applications to assist people to be productive and focus on skillful
work in a safe work environment.
We are looking for a Senior Developer who can take a lead role in designing and developing technology
solutions for GlobalDWS as well as providing technical guidance to support the company’s roadmap and be a
mentor for junior developers.
This position will be a hybrid of remote and in person due to the Covid situation. Interview will be conducted
virtually.
Responsibilities
• Provide expertise in design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of current and
future applications.
• Able to learn and explore new technologies.
• Work with the project team through the different phases of the project life cycle.
• Thrive in fast-pace environments with short time to market delivery of tasks.
About You
Candidate Qualities:
• The Candidate should have strong and hands on experience in system architecture and
development.
• Should be well versed in Java, Android, .NET, SQL Server, [Link], C#, jQuery.
• Backend services and RESTful API experience.
• Dev-ops and Azure Cloud experience is an asset.
• Be a key player in building high-performance, secure, scalable, and delightful consumer and
client facing applications.
• Team player that can develop high performing code and improves performance of the robotic
application and enhances user experience.
Subject Line
• Experience in source code management and branching techniques (Git preferred)
• Hands-on experience on the big cloud providers: Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure.
• Good knowledge of Software development methodology and software lifecycle processes
(Waterfall & Agile)
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of Android App Development experience.
• 5+ years of experience of Java/Kotlin Platform development.
• 5+ years programming and user interface development in .NET, SQL Server, [Link] , C#, jQuery.
• 5+ years Restful API.
• Strong Communications skills.
