Dear CSCLP Team,
I am Simmi Parihar, currently in 3rd Sem of [Link].B. I am writing to express my genuine
interest in interning with the Centre for Study of Consumer Law and Policy for the upcoming
academic year. As a law student, I’ve always been drawn to the everyday relevance of
consumer law. It sits at the intersection of policy, law, and real people's lives. The idea that
legal research and outreach can directly help individuals make informed choices and seek
redress is something I find incredibly meaningful.
What excites me about CSCLP is the opportunity to work not only on research but also on
capacity building and outreach which translates complex legal concepts into something useful
and accessible. I value working in teams, bringing a positive and dependable work ethic, and
I’m always willing to take initiative and help things run smoothly behind the scenes.
I understand that the Centre expects commitment, responsibility, and consistent contribution
and I truly appreciate that. I’m prepared to prioritise the work of the Centre, meet deadlines,
and learn continuously through the process. If selected, I see this internship not just as a
chance to build skills, but as a space to contribute meaningfully to the Centre’s work and
grow with it.
