• Plain cotton saree for girls and bed sheet for boys
• Wooden blocks (designs)
• Fabric colors
• Sponge or tray
• Newspaper/plastic sheet

Procedure

1. Wash and dry the fabric to remove starch

2. Spread it evenly on a flat surface
3. Dip the block into fabric color
4. Press the block firmly on the cloth
5. Repeat the pattern carefully
6. Allow it to dry completely
7. Fix the color by ironing (if required)
