WARM UP
Write as many verbs as you can in only
In English, we often use
TWO verbs together

As in Spanish, WHEN we say:

me gusta escuchar música.

Two verbs, right?

In English, there’s a small difference
We don’t put two verbs together directly.
We need a structure.

VERB + VERB -ING

or
VERB + INFINITIVE VERB
These are the two ways we do it:

I enjoy listening to music

I want to travel
Activity 1:
Complete the following sentences:
I enjoy___________________
I like_____________________
I avoid___________________
I want____________________
I plan____________________

⚠️ USE A VERB (ACTION), NOT A NOUN

My Examples:
I enjoy watching T.V every night.
I like going out on weekends.
I avoid eating seafood.
I want to finish my career.
I plan to go to the beach this year.
Important things to consider

2. Choose one prompt and ask a classmate
3. If the answer is “yes”, write their name
4. Ask follow-up questions if needed
5. Talk to different classmates (not the same person)
6. Find at least 5 different people
7. Speak only in English
You need to ask
questions like these:

Do you need to study more?
Do you avoid eating junk food?

This structure is present simple :)
