Module 1: The Hindi Alphabet (हिंदी वर्णमाला)


Hindi uses the Devanagari script. Don't worry — for office use, you'll mostly speak Hindi, and
reading/writing comes with practice. Here are the basics:

1.1 Vowels (स्वर - Swar)


Hindi has 11 main vowels. Each has a short and long form:

Here are the most commonly used consonants in daily Hindi speech:

💡 Tip: In meetings, 'Theek hai ji' (Okay, sir/ma'am) is used to acknowledge and agree. Very common and
polite.

Module 6: Basic Sentence Structure


Hindi sentence structure: Subject + Object + Verb (SOV). English is SVO.
