I. STATIC CHARTS (Biểu đồ tĩnh)
11️⃣Introduction
Công thức:
• The + [type of chart] + illustrates/compares +
▫ the number of + countable noun/noun phrase
▫ the amount of + uncountable noun/noun phrase
▫ how many/how much + clause
▫ the percentage/proportion of + noun/noun phrase
▫ in + year / in the year + year
2️⃣Overview
Công thức:
• Overall,/Generally, there is/was + a significant difference / a wide disparity
▫ between A and B
▫ in + the number/amount of + N
Tương phản:
• It is noticeable/evident that + S + V + O.
However,/In contrast,/while/whereas + S + V + O.
3️⃣Body – So sánh
Comparatives:
• S1 + be + more/fewer/less + than + S2
• S1 + V + more/fewer/less + N + than + S2
Superlatives:
• S + be + the + adj-est / the most/least + adj (+ N)
• S + be + the second/third + adj-est / most + adj
So sánh dữ liệu:
• S1 + V/be + twice/three times/… + as many/much as + S2
Câu phức:
• A, followed by B
• Thay “the number of” / “the percentage of” bằng “that”

a. Introduction:

b. Overview:

• It is noticeable that there + be + an upward/downward trend…
• As can be seen, S + V + O, while S1 + V1 + O1.
c. Body 1 + 2:
• Chia theo thời gian hoặc nhóm xu hướng
• Mô tả thay đổi, điểm cao/thấp, khác biệt, so sánh
