Purpose of PowerPoint
 PowerPoint is presentation software used to create slides.
 It helps present information in meetings, classes, and seminars.
 Slides can contain text, pictures, charts, audio, and video.

Interface of PowerPoint
 Title Bar: Shows presentation name.
 Ribbon: Contains tabs and commands.
 Slides Pane: Shows slide thumbnails.
 Slide Area: Main working area.
 Status Bar: Shows slide information and view options.

Features of PowerPoint
 Create attractive presentations.
 Insert images, tables, charts, audio, and video.
 Apply themes and templates.
 Use animations and transitions.
 Print slides and handouts.

Views in PowerPoint
 Normal View: Used to create and edit slides.
 Outline View: Shows slide text in outline form.
 Slide Sorter View: Displays all slides together for easy arrangement.
 Reading View: Plays slides in a window for review.

Types of Fill Effects
