1) CPC provides for filing summary suit in certain specific cases. A summary suit follows special procedure
markedly different from those pertaining to a regular suit. Discuss.
2) Section 9 of the Code of Civil Procedure recognizes the settled principle of law that, unlike appeal, no
statutory authority is required to file a suit. However, several circumstances operate as bar on the
jurisdiction of a civil court with respect to maintainability of a suit before it. Discuss.
