mad, he said, ‘’They’re probably bad,’’ hiding sad feelings.
No dad there to help. A lad passing saw the fox and
shook his head. The fox had no grapes, just words on a
pad in his mind, saying they were not good. But he knew
truth: he was just upset. No glad end. He learned making
excuses doesn’t help. Honesty was better. Next time he
wouldn’t act mad or say they’re bad when he couldn’t
reach them. He walked away wiser, no sad tricks needed.
