The two maps show the main changes which have taken
place in the small park between the year 1980 and today.
Overall, the park transformed from a traditional natural
park into an accessible visitor-friendly park. While this
transformation included introduction of new playing
zone and the redevelopment of road system, pond
remained unchanged. These changes, however, came at
the cost of wall and green environment.
In 1980, the park used to be more well-organized and
with the leafy environment. One of the significant
features of park was wall which covered entire location
including two entrance gates in the south and north-
west. These gates marked the beginning and the end of
the road running through the park. The southern part
was fully occupied by flower gardens. While a pot
surrounded with benches was located in the west, the
north and east contained huge planted area with tall
trees.
By now, significant changes had occurred. The wall was
demolished. Some trees were cut down, which resulted
in introduction of picnic tables and the barbeque, making
park more suitable for social activities. While pond
remained intact, one of the floral gardens was turned
into playing area and another was replaced by several
bushes. Finally, the road system was redesigned to
create four separate entrances.
