Hometown
Q: Where is your hometown?

My hometown is Shymkent, which is one of the largest cities in Kazakhstan. It is located in the
southern part of the country and is well known for its warm climate, delicious food, and friendly
people.

Q: What do you like about your hometown?

What I like most about Shymkent is its atmosphere. Life there is quite lively, but at the same
time it is less stressful than in bigger cities. I also enjoy spending time in local parks and trying
different traditional dishes with my friends and family.

Q: Has your hometown changed over the years?

Yes, it has changed significantly. Over the past few years, many new buildings, shopping
centres, and recreational areas have been developed. The city has become more modern and
attractive, especially for young people.

Yes, definitely. My hometown has changed a lot in recent years. New roads, buildings, and
entertainment facilities have been developed. At the same time, some famous attractions, such as Mir
Fantazii and Fontan water park, were relocated a few months ago. I think these changes have made the
city look more modern.

I currently live in a house with my family. It is located in a relatively quiet neighbourhood,


which makes it a comfortable place to study and relax.

My favourite room is definitely my bedroom because it is where I spend most of my time. I

Since we're all quite busy with our studies, we don't meet every day. However, we regularly stay
