1. COURSE OBJECTIVES
▪ Provides general knowledge of the international financial environment and
focuses on various financial management aspects of a multinational
corporation (MNC).
▪ Provides in-depth knowledge of the financial transfer mechanism of MNCs
in terms of exchange rates.
▪ Introduces the challenges that MNC financial managers face.
▪ Introduces the specificity of the financial transfer mechanism of MNCs.

▪ Provides theoretical foundations and some practical situations illustrating
the financial management of multinational companies.
▪ Provides modern tools and techniques for financial management and
planning of multinational financial strategies.
▪ Applies problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills,
combined with financial decision-making tools, to solve practical
situations.

2) Analyzing the financial situations of a multinational company (MNC).

determining the priority objectives in each specific situation.
4) Evaluating and selecting appropriate hedge strategies for different types of risks.
5) Understanding the rules of entry, withdrawal, and building of consumer market and
production market networks of MNCs from the exchange rate perspective.

▪ Attending class regularly and on time.
+ Lecturer checks student attendance through signatures.
+ The student’s contributions are recorded regularly.
▪ Students must read materials and lectures before coming to class.
▪ Lecturers provide case studies/situations for students to discuss.
+ Making at least one group discussion in each lesson.
▪ Students discuss how to apply theories to solve given situations in each
section.
▪ Lecturers answer students' questions and provide theoretical guidance
related to lessons, and discuss situations.
