ZYTH (With a warm, welcoming smile) A pleasant morning to everyone!
DEMART (With confident, energetic warmth) A blessed and inspiring morning to all our
distinguished guests, administrators, faculty, and most especially—our future
educators—our dear Student Teachers!
BOTH Welcome to the Student Teachers’ Orientation for the academic year 2025-2026.
DEMART We are your hosts for this momentous event. I am Demart Ledio.
ZYTH And I am Zyth Mariel Gabat. Today marks the beginning of a significant chapter
in your journey to becoming licensed professionals.
DEMART (Shifting to a respectful, solemn tone) To commence our program, let us all
stand and seek divine guidance. For our Opening Prayer, may I invite everyone
to please rise and feel the presence of the Lord. (PAUSE FOR PRAYER)
ZYTH Thank you. Please remain standing for the singing of our National Anthem, to be
followed by the Negros Island Region Hymn and our beloved St. Joseph College
of Canlaon School Hymn. (PAUSE FOR ANTHEMS AND HYMNS)
DEMART (Warmly) You may now be seated. Thank you.
ZYTH It is now our great honor and privilege to introduce our esteemed School
President. A man of vision and unwavering commitment to Catholic education,
his message will surely set the tone for our day.
DEMART Ladies and gentlemen, let us give a warm round of applause to welcome REV.
FR. RICHARD B. DUMALAG, our School President for his Welcome Message.
(PAUSE FOR SPEECH)
ZYTH (Appreciative tone) Thank you very much, Rev. Fr. President, for that inspiring
and heartwarming welcome.
DEMART Now, for the crucial part of our orientation: understanding the framework of
your deployment. To discuss the Guidelines in the Deployment of Pre-Service
Teachers, we are honored to have with us DR. MELBA S. TUMARONG, the
Education Program Supervisor. Let us welcome with a big hand. (PAUSE FOR
SPEECH)
ZYTH Thank you, Dr. Tumarong, for those clear and comprehensive guidelines.
DEMART Next, we will learn about the important figures who will guide you in the field.
To enlighten us on the Selection of Resource Teachers and Cooperating
Teachers/Mentors, please put your hands together for DR. ANNA LEE A.
AMORES, our Curriculum Implementation Division Chief. (PAUSE FOR
SPEECH)
DEMART Our sincere thanks, Dr. Amores. A strong support system is indeed key to a
successful practice teaching journey.
ZYTH (Informative tone) Our very own institution also plays a pivotal role in this
journey. To discuss the Roles of the Teacher Education Institution (TEI), let us
welcome our dedicated Student Teaching Supervisor, DR. LOLITA L. DELA
CRUZ. (PAUSE FOR SPEECH)
DEMART Thank you, Dr. Dela Cruz, for outlining the supportive role our college will play.
ZYTH For a message that will further inspire us and remind us of the greater mission of
the Department of Education, we are truly privileged to have our Assistant
Schools Division Superintendent, DR. NONALE Q. RESOOR. Let’s all give a
heartfelt applause for his Message. (PAUSE FOR SPEECH)
DEMART Thank you very much, DR. RESOOR, for that motivating message.
And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for – the revelation of your
training grounds. For the Giving of Assignments to the Different Schools, we
call upon FILIPINO SUPERVISOR, RHEA B. CARREON.
ZYTH To all our student teachers, congratulations on your assignments! Embrace this
opportunity with passion and dedication.
As we draw this meaningful orientation to a close, it is fitting to hear final words
of wisdom from the head of our academic unit. For the Closing Remarks, let’s
welcome the ever-supportive College Dean, DR. JOCELYN M. SUMILHIG.
DEMART Thank you, Dean Sumilhig, for your empowering closing remarks.
And that concludes our Student Teachers’ Orientation Program! To recap, you
have been equipped with guidelines, introduced to your support system, and
assigned to your respective schools.
ZYTH To all our pre-service teachers, may you carry the lessons and inspiration from
today as you embark on this rewarding journey. Be the best Josephian teachers
that you can be!
DEMART Go forth with courage, compassion, and competence. We, your SJCCI family,
are behind you all the way
BOTH Thank you and have a successful practice teaching journey! God bless and to
