The diagram ilustrates the process by which bamboo is transformed into fabric.
Overall, the process consists of three main stages, beginning with the preparation of raw
materials, followed by the production of bamboo fibres and ending with the manufacture of
fabric and clothing products.
Initially, bamboos are cultivated in spring and harvested in autumn once they have fully
matured. After being collected, the bamboo stems are cut into small strips using a machine.
These pieces are then crushed thoroughly to create liquid pulp, marking the completion of the
first stage of the process.
In the next step, the liquid pulp is filtered in order to separate long fibres from the rest of the
materials. These extracted fibres are then soften by adding water and amine oxide. Once soften,
they are spinned into yarns for the final stage.
Finally, yarns are provided for weaving to produce fabric turned into garments such as T-shirts
and socks. These finish the recylice of the production.

In recent years, some people believe that global fashion trends have a great impact on the way
people choose their outfits. Through the influence of the media and celebrities, and
international clothes brands, fashion styles can spread over the world. Although this trend may
offers certain benefits, I suppose that there is a negative development related to excessive
consumption and cultural identity.
One primary reason why global fashion becomes influential is the development of technology
and social media platforms. Applications such as TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest instantly
provide access to the lates fashion trends through different countries. Celebrities and fashion
bloggers from this platforms also play a vital role in shaping public preferences, especially
among young people trying to keep up with the latest trend. In addition, the expansion of
international brands and online shopping has made global fashion accessible and affordable
than ever. As a result, people from different countries can dress in different ways.
The drawbacks of this phenomenon are far more significant. First of all, the global trends
encourage overconsumption among individuals. Many people, particularly teenagers, feel
pressued to buy new clothes in order to keep up with their rapidly changing trends. This not
only creates financial pressure but also contributes to environmental problems caused by fast
fashion. Moreover, the popularity of international brands may gradually weaken traditional
cultural identity. In many countries, younger generations are becoming less interested in
traditional clothing because the Western or global styles are often more modern and attractive.
In conclusion, global fashion has become a powerful influence due to social media and the
accessibility of international brands. Although it offers some advantages, I believe it is overall a
negative development because it promotes overconsumption and threatens cultural identity.
