1. Module Overview
1.1 Purpose
The Order Management Module is the central transaction processing hub of the system. It provides a
unified interface to capture, track, and manage all customer orders across their lifecycle — from order
creation to fulfillment and delivery.
Every shipment, invoice, and fulfillment activity is anchored to an order managed within this module.
Key Objectives
● Provide a centralized view of all orders
● Enable efficient order processing and fulfillment
● Support real-time tracking of order status
● Facilitate integration with product, inventory, and shipping systems
● Ensure operational visibility and control over order lifecycle
Core Capabilities
● Order listing with detailed attributes
● Filtering, sorting, and searching
● Order status monitoring and updates
● Shipment and fulfillment actions
● Navigation to related entities (products, customers)
1.2 Module Structure
The module is accessible via the Orders section in the left navigation and is composed of two primary
layers:
Core Order Management
● Manage Orders (Order List View)
Central listing of all orders with filtering, sorting, and available actions.
● Order Details View
A detailed view of a single order, including items, customer information, and order status.
This view is not available in the left navigation; it opens when a user clicks on an order number
from the Order List.

The module will be accessible from the Admin Panel.
Navigation Path:
Navigation Path Description
Manage Orders > List of Main order listing page displaying all customer orders. Acts as the entry point to view
orders order data.
Order No. > Order Details Detailed view of a selected order, including customer information and ordered product
details.

1.4 Key Actors
Role Access Level
Super Admin Full access: view all customer orders and order details.
Admin User Can view all orders and access order details.
Operations Team Read access to order listings and order details for monitoring incoming orders.
Finance Team Read access to order details for reviewing pricing and customer order information.

2. Order Management — Manage Order Screen
2.1 Screen Purpose
Accessible via Order Management > Manage Orders.
The screen is titled “Manage Orders” and serves as the central list of orders in the system.
It is the primary operational interface used to:
● View and monitor all orders
● Apply filters and sorting
● Perform fulfillment-related actions
● Navigate to order and product details

Orders Count Integer Displays total number of orders based on applied filters

2.5 Column Behaviour
1. Order ID (Clickable)
● Type: Navigation Link
● Behavior:
○ Clicking on the Order ID redirects the user to the Order Detail Page for that specific
order.
2. Product Name (Clickable)
● Type: Navigation Link
● Behavior:
○ On the Order Detail Page, clicking on the Product Name redirects the user to the
Product Listing Page.

2.7 Column Behaviour
Visible when one or more orders are selected:
● Print packing slips
● Confirm shipments
● Buy shipping
● Cancel orders
2.8 Pagination
• Positioned at the bottom-right of the grid.
• Page Size dropdown: default 20. Options: 20, 50, 100 records per page.
• Navigation buttons: First | Prev | [numbered pages] | Next | Last.
• Server-side pagination — only the current page's records are fetched per API request.
2.6 Developer Notes
• Search applies to:
○ Order ID
○ Customer Name
○ Product identifiers such as SKU, EAN, Product ID etc
○ Product Name
○ Buyer Mail ID
○ Tracking Number
• Sorting triggers server-side API calls
• Only summary data should be returned in listing API (no heavy joins)
3. Order Management — Order Details Screen
3.1 Screen Purpose
Accessible by clicking an Order ID from the Manage Orders screen.

It provides a complete, detailed view of a single order, including:
● Order summary
● Customer information
● Product items
● Fulfillment and status
