Strategies for the Writing Section
1. Address Every Point
Most prompts ask you to cover three points.
Write at least one sentence about each point.

The app counts your words as you type.
Keep an eye on the word counter.
3. Use Basic Linking Words
Useful linking words include:

but second

also
4. Check Spelling and Grammar
Before submitting your work, take a minute to read it again.
A quick review can help you find mistakes.
COMMON MISTAKES TO AVOID
Forgetting the Greeting or Sign-Off
Every email should begin and end appropriately.
Writing One Long Paragraph
Group your ideas into separate paragraphs where possible.
Repeating the Same Point
Do not repeat information simply to reach the 50-word minimum.
Markers can easily identify repetition.
Using Informal Language
Avoid:
slang
