PHYSICS
During our recent meetings, I realized that some of the lessons reminded
me of the topics I first encountered back in 7th grade. Even though these
lessons were already introduced before, I still find some of them quite
challenging to fully understand. One example is the concept of free fall,
which we were supposed to study more deeply in Grade 9.
Unfortunately, during that time, our discussions felt rushed because of
the many class suspensions.
Looking back, I realized how important it is to really pay attention and
understand the basics instead of just trying to finish the lesson. Some of
the topics may seem familiar, but when they get more advanced, it’s
harder to catch up if the foundation isn’t strong. Even though I still
struggle sometimes, I want to take it as a challenge to study harder and
do my part to improve. I know that if I make the effort to review,
practice, and ask questions, I’ll be able to understand the lessons better
and feel more confident moving forward. I found the examination hard
because I practiced solving rather than learning the concept of each
lesson.
SCIENCE
Science was quite easy for me at first because most of the lessons were
already tackled during our previous years. However, since we are now in
10th grade, the topics were expanded and explained in a much deeper
way, which made them more difficult than before. It feels like the
lessons I used to find simple are now more detailed, and I really have to
focus more to fully understand them.
Some lessons, especially those about the Earth’s structure, were a bit
complicated for me. There were so many details to remember, like the
different layers and how they interact with each other. At times, it felt
overwhelming, but I also realized that it’s part of the challenge of being
in a higher grade level. Even if it’s hard, I know these topics are
important because they help us understand how our planet works and
why certain natural events happen; earthquakes, volcanic eruptions.
