2. Product Background
The educational environment has changed dramatically in recent years with the increasing
shift to online learning and the need for more flexible access to academic resources. Students, who
play a central role in this learning process, often need help accessing reference materials and
effective methods of testing knowledge. Based on these needs, our team is developing an online
learning support platform to address these issues by providing a comprehensive solution. The
platform incorporates features inspired by tools such as Edunext and LMS from FPT Education,
allowing students to participate in classes, share knowledge, and connect for collaborative learning.
The platform also includes an online testing feature that allows students to review and assess their
understanding of the provided materials. Teachers can manage their classes effectively through tools
that allow them to update lectures, tests, and learning materials. Students can also engage in group
chats and access learning resources quickly. With advanced features like collaborative note-taking,
the platform creates an interactive learning environment that minimizes time spent searching for
information and maximizes hands-on learning activities. The project addresses common issues in
current learning, such as the lack of reliable learning resources and the need for better learning
connectivity. By streamlining learning activities and enhancing collaboration, our platform aims to
transform the online learning experience for both students and teachers in today’s schools.

3. Existing Systems
3.1 Edunext
● Edunext is an online learning platform that offers diverse courses with personalized features,
helping students learn flexibly with a social constructivist approach. The platform supports
teacher-student interaction, progress management, and achievement tracking.

● System Actor:
○ Teacher
○ Student
○ Admin
● Advantage:
○ User-Friendly: Easy to find and join the process of class
○ Interactive Learning: Engages students in various learning modes (e.g., social constructivist
questions and tests).
● Disadvantage:
○ Requires high self-discipline: Due to the flexible learning environment, students must be
highly self-disciplined and self-motivated to keep up with the course progress. Questions
can be skipped without notice.
■ Evidence: If the teacher starts a constructivist question, students may miss it and lack
notice of it.

3.2 LMS
● LMS is a website that allows the management and systematization of documents and training
content into courses or training programs. LMS also plays a role in connecting learners, and
instructors and delivering training content flexibly, regardless of time and location. At the same
time, it also helps monitor and report on learners' learning performance or the effectiveness of
the training program.

● System Actor:
○ Student
○ Teacher
○ Admin
● Advantage:
○ Robust classroom management:
■ LMS typically provides more detailed classroom management tools, allowing
instructors to easily and effectively track student learning progress, including assigning
assignments, testing, and managing learning materials.
○ Measuring and reporting learning progress:
■ LMS provide detailed reports on student learning progress, allowing instructors to
easily track learning outcomes and evaluate teaching effectiveness.
○ Supporting learning materials and testing:
■ LMS allows for managing learning materials, lectures, reference materials, and tests,
facilitating student learning and testing.
○ Complying with educational standards:
■ LMS are typically built to meet the requirements of traditional educational systems,
complying with learning standards and regulations.
● Disadvantage:
○ Lack of Flexibility and Interactivity:
■ LMS often focus on learning management and progress tracking rather than creating
flexible and interactive learning spaces. Platforms like AskVolt can provide flexible
learning features encouraging real-time engagement and communication between
instructors and students.
○ Lack of Social Interactivity:
■ LMS often lacks the tools that foster social connection and community learning in
AskVolt. Features like group discussions, document sharing, and real-time feedback
help AskVolt create a vibrant learning community.
○ Lack of Personalized Learning:
■ LMS often do not provide robust personalized learning tools like AskVolt, where
students can manage their study time, participate in individual learning activities, and
receive immediate feedback.

5
○ Relying on student autonomy:
■ LMSs may require students to strictly adhere to a study plan and discourage flexibility
in participating in learning activities. In contrast, AskVolt allows students more
flexibility in participating in learning activities, which allows students to be more
proactive in their learning.

4. Business Opportunity
AskVolt, with its outstanding features in optimizing the learning process and classroom management,
is creating an excellent opportunity to dominate the online education market. Compared to
competitors such as LMS and Edunext, AskVolt combines the advantages of these two platforms and
excels thanks to its flexible scalability and powerful interactive features. LMS stands out with its
learning management system that helps teachers easily track student progress and organize by
subjects, while Edunext is vital in building social learning communities and connecting students and
teachers through discussion groups, creating a dynamic community learning environment. However,
AskVolt can combine these strengths with detailed classroom management tools, powerful progress
reports, and interactive features that help students maintain productivity and improve learning
outcomes based on the features supported by the product. This helps optimize the learning
experience and brings higher management efficiency for teachers and educational institutions. With
easy scalability, AskVolt has great potential to attract users and expand the market, especially in
developing regions, while meeting the increasing learning needs of students and teachers.

5. Software Product Vision

The growing need for a comprehensive learning support platform for educational institutions,
lecturers, and students highlights the necessity of adapting and continuously updating to meet these
demands. AskVolt is an innovative online learning support platform designed to provide students
with a modern approach to collaborative knowledge sharing while offering robust classroom
management tools for educational [Link] stands out as a flexible and indispensable
tool, fostering an ideal environment for knowledge exchange and implementing scientific learning
methods to enhance the quality of students' self-study. By overcoming the limitations of traditional
learning methods, AskVolt offers a personalized, interactive, and adaptable learning experience.
Unlike existing learning websites that mainly focus on document management or systems limited to
internal use, our product distinguishes itself through its automation of progress reporting, document
sharing, and time management tools, enabling a more flexible and tailored learning journey. More
than just a learning platform, AskVolt represents a breakthrough in learning support, paving the way
for the future of higher education. Its vision is to become the leading solution for college students,
fostering a collaborative learning environment where learners can easily access resources and
develop skills effectively. By providing unique features such as classroom management, test creation,
note-taking and document sharing, and advanced time and task management tools, AskVolt ensures
maximum user value and convenience. Unlike our product, existing platforms lack comprehensive
support for specialized educational features and teacher-student interaction, making AskVolt the go-
to choice for institutions seeking innovation in education.
