Introduction
The aim of this report is to describe the tasks and activities I participated
in, explain my problems with the programme and to make
recommendations for improvements.
Tasks and activities
I have done many tasks and with a lot of those I have zero problem. One of
my favorite was the receptionist. I also done package delivery, worked as
a waiter and cleaned the hotel.
Problems
The things that seemed a bit odd were the waiter and cleaner tasks. When
I got in to the restaurant part of the hotel I was thrown into the middle of
the thigns. I were assigned to waiter position with out any introductions to
show me what I have to do, so the first 2 hours were terrible but latter I
got into the flow of the restaurant and then it was good.
It’s almost the same with the cleaning. They told me to clean the hotel
room but I didn’t get the instructions to how and with what chemical I
should do it.
Recommendations
My suggestions is that it may could help the future workers if the new
workers get a mentor next to them with who they work at the same roles
and can ask for help.
I would also recomend a paper with short summary of each role with
instructions that could make the job easier.
Conclusion
In short it was a great and usefull time what I spent there and I am glad
that I attended, so I think this is a great oppurtunity for students and fresh
workers.
