What is a Core Router?


A Core Router is a high-performance router located at the center of a large network. It forwards
massive traffic volumes and connects backbone networks.

Where is it used?
ISPs, Telecom Operators, Cloud Providers, Data Centers, Internet Exchanges, Large Enterprises.
