INTRODUCTION

1. OBJECTIVE
This course provides students with knowledge about
microprocessor/microcontroller architecture, memory systems, basic
peripherals, data transmission techniques, and assembly/C
programming for microcontrollers.
.
After completing this course, students will be able to:
• Analyze basic system based on microcontroller/micro processor
• Analyze and design basic systems based on AVR micro controller
• Program AVR microcontroller systems using assembly language and C
language.
2. Learning Outcomes
• L.O.1- Explain the architecture and operation of a general
microprocessor system
• L.O.2- Understand the architecture of typical AVR Microcontroller,
memory system, instruction set
• L.O.3- Use assembly and C to program the AVR Microcontroller.
• L.O.4- Explain and apply hardware design knowledge in interfacing
microprocessor/microcontroller systems with external peripherals.
• L.O.5- Understand and use timers, serial ports, and interrupt
organization of typical AVR microcontroller
• L.O.6- Analysis and design of microcontroller systems based on AVR
