■ Hackathon Pitch Script (6 Slides)

Slide 1: Title Page

■ Speaker 1 Good morning judges, we are Team [Your Team Name], and today we are here to
present our solution to one of the most pressing problems in rural India— the lack of digital
infrastructure in government schools. Our idea is titled ‘Smart Digital Education Platform for Rural
Schools’. It falls under the Education and Digital Literacy theme of Smart India Hackathon 2025.

Slide 2: Problem & Idea Title

■ Speaker 1 continues In Nabha and nearby rural areas, many government schools still rely on
outdated systems. Internet connectivity is unreliable, and digital literacy among teachers and
students is very low. This creates a huge gap between rural and urban education standards. Our
solution is the Smart Digital Education Platform. It is offline-first, affordable, and scalable—designed
to work even where the internet is weak. It combines low-cost hardware kits, AI-driven educational
tools, and teacher training modules to create equal opportunities for rural students.

Slide 3: Technical Approach

■ Speaker 2 Our technical approach is simple yet powerful. - On the software side, we have a
cloud-based learning system that can also run in offline mode. Content can sync when the internet
is available. - On the hardware side, we use Raspberry Pi kits, solar-powered routers, and existing
school computers to set up digital labs at low cost. - For teachers, we provide gamified training and
an AI chatbot that assists them in preparing lessons. Here’s our flow: setup → deploy LMS → offline
access → sync with cloud → monitor progress. This ensures the system is usable in any rural
school, regardless of infrastructure.

Slide 4: Feasibility & Viability

■ Speaker 3 We carefully analyzed feasibility. ■ The platform works on low-end devices that
schools already have. ■ Hardware is low-cost and solar-powered to reduce dependency on
electricity. ■ The system is scalable—from one school to hundreds. Challenges include funding,
teacher adoption, and maintenance. To solve this: - We plan to leverage CSR funding and
government partnerships. - We designed gamified teacher training to make adoption easier. -
Remote monitoring and support reduce maintenance costs.

Slide 5: Impact & Benefits

■ Speaker 4 The impact of our solution goes beyond just technology. ■ For students: equal access
to modern content, improved digital literacy, and readiness for future careers. ■ For teachers: smart
tools that save time and make teaching engaging. ■ For society: bridging the rural-urban education
divide. Imagine a child in Nabha learning coding and robotics at the same level as a child in
Delhi—without leaving their village. That’s the real power of our solution.

Slide 6: Research & Closing

■ Speaker 1 returns Our solution is backed by research from NCERT, Diksha portal, and global
case studies on low-cost school labs. We also aligned with India’s National Digital Education
Architecture (NDEAR). To conclude: We are not just building software, we are building the future of
rural education—affordable, inclusive, and digital-first. Thank you.
