[INTRO - grab attention]

Ever imagined that your footsteps could literally light up a bulb? Every step you take has energy - so

instead of wasting it, why not convert it into electricity?

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to show you how we can generate power from footsteps using

piezoelectric modules. It's a super cool concept called energy harvesting, and it's already being

tested in places like airports, malls, and railway stations.

[EXPLAIN THE CONCEPT]

Whenever we walk, we apply pressure on the ground. These piezoelectric sensors convert that

mechanical pressure into electrical energy.

In simple words - when we step on them, they produce voltage. But that voltage is in AC form, so we

use a bridge rectifier to convert it to DC. Then, we smooth it using a capacitor, and store it in a

battery or rechargeable cell.

That stored energy can be used to power small things like LEDs, indicators, or even charge small

devices.

[COMPONENTS]

- Piezoelectric modules - generate electricity when pressed.

- Bridge rectifier - converts AC to DC.

- Capacitor - filters and smooths the voltage.

- Voltage regulator - keeps output stable.

- Battery - stores the energy.

- Wooden or acrylic platform - for stepping.

[WORKING PRINCIPLE]
Footstep -> Piezo Sensor -> Rectifier -> Capacitor -> Regulator -> Battery -> Load.

Every time someone steps on the plate, mechanical energy becomes electrical energy, gets

converted, regulated, and stored - all within a second!

[DEMONSTRATION]

When I press the board... see that? The LED lights up! That's the electricity generated just from one

step. Imagine hundreds of people walking - this energy can be multiplied and used efficiently.

[LIMITATIONS]

This system doesn't produce a huge amount of electricity - it's not going to charge your phone or run

a fan just yet. But it's perfect for small loads and educational demos. The idea is about innovation -

harvesting energy from everyday actions.

[IMPROVEMENTS / FUTURE IDEAS]

- Use more piezo modules for higher output.

- Add a boost converter to increase voltage.

- Integrate IoT sensors for real-time tracking.

- Install tiles in schools, malls, or roads.

[CONCLUSION]

This project proves that even the smallest actions, like walking, can create something powerful.

Footstep Power Generation is a step towards a sustainable future - where energy is all around us,

waiting to be captured.
